2024 Stewardship Campaign

November 9th, 2023

Dear ECLC Parisioner,

Sacred Ground: 75 years of our ministry as Edina Community Lutheran Church. We are much more than a place of worship, we are what is in our name, community. Community with the land, our neighbors, members and visitors, mission and ministry partners and partner congregations, and so much more.  As we move into our 75th year, we honor the native land our church is on, and we honor the past and current members who have formed our congregation to be what it is today. We are here and vibrant due to the generosity of others who have helped support our congregation.

Our goal is to have participation of 250 households, which is around 90% of our congregation. This is a high goal to achieve, but we can do it! What does a participation goal mean? Turning in your commitment card for 2024, no matter what your amount is – all gifts matter and add up to support our church financially! We will report progress towards our commitment goal throughout the month of November and will celebrate the total generosity of our congregational commitments as we near Christmas. Please respond with your commitment as soon as you are able by completing it online at https://www.eclc.org/stewardship-commitment-form or turning in your commitment form during worship or to the church office.

Thank you for your past gifts to ECLC.  As you consider your giving for the upcoming year, please also consider an increase in your commitment for 2024 or an additional one-time gift to support the annual stewardship campaign. We continue to be grateful for your generosity as automated giving makes it easier for you and is a more reliable revenue stream for our church!

When we give together, in whatever way we can, we have a collective and powerful impact. Our annual stewardship campaign allows us to ensure our congregation will be here for another 75 years and beyond so we can continue to “give witness to love and justice at God’s welcome table for the world.”

With gratitude,

Linnea Huinker, Minister of Stewardship

Together with ECLC staff, church council and stewardship committee
